The Alchemist Kitchen Bar

This wonderful place, was shown to us, by our friends. What a gem! The atmosphere is casual. The food is amazing, and the service, is top notch. The servers are very knowledgeable about the dishes, and are more than happy to answer any questions concerning them. Very attentive, as well. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy a top tier , casual experience. I will highly recommend this place, as well as,be back to try more menu options. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

This was my first visit. Upon parking in the lot shared by other stores, my partner and I wandered up to the door with mediocre expectations. When we walked in, we saw the interior lowly lit, about 20 tables and 10 bar seats accompanying the space. The classical music playing softly enhanced the atmosphere. The lady who sat us was very polite. Our waitress and bartender appeared from around the bar to say hello. Her name was Emma. She has a natural comfort with banter and friendliness. We ordered the fried artichoke bites as an appetizer (picture not included). It was crispy, fresh, and served with a garlic whip that was perfect for the dish. We had questions related to the wagyu, to which she brought out Chef Ken. He gave us a background and flavor profile for this particular cut. My partner ordered it and I went with the filet. The chef personally brought out our dinner and hands down the best meal I've ever had. Steaks were cooked according to our liking and served with acidic veggies and fresh potatoes. The earthy flavors from the sides added an additional zest to our juicy steaks. My partner and I both ordered a glass of Chianti; however, only one glass was brought due to being out. To rectify this, I was brought a Pinot noir on the house for the mistake. It still enhanced the flavors of my dinner. The overall experience blew my expectations out of the water. We thanked the chef and our waitress. We spent close to 200 after tip, so I would definitely say dressing business casual is the attire and the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or intimate celebration. Don’t sleep on this place! I cannot wait to return!

First time visiting The Alchemist and I must say I wish I would have come here sooner. Made dinner reservations and was greeted then seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the Salmon Chips which I really didn't know what to expect but they were AMAZING! Also had the raw oysters which were delicious as well. For dinner I had the fish & chips and my girlfriend had the salmon piccata which were both delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking this little hidden gem out. We're already planning our next visit.

from the food, to the presentation, and to the 1000/10 service, everything was phenomenal!! went for a birthday celebration and we had such a great time. Chef Ken and the server were so sweet and fun :)) will definitely be back here again for more celebrations

The atmosphere was amazing, we really enjoyed how the restaurant was laid out and decorated. The service from Natalie and Katie was great, they were very quick and intuitive, and even offered great suggestions on dishes we would like based off of our input. The food was incredible, the drinks were top notch, the deserts were delicious. It's almost enough to make me want to move to the area so I can frequent this restaurant and try everything on the menu.

We had brunch here with a large party. The food was fantastic! The chef came out to greet us and they provided us with some sample appetizer. We didn’t not feel rushed and were able to enjoy our meal and cocktails.

Went here after my neighbor recommended it and did not disappoint! A pleasant, stylish atmosphere and venue in a convenient location with excellent food and a unique cocktail menu. Have had an array of dishes on the menu now, all of which were very tasty. The cocktails are superb, a bit pricey, but quality options. The service and staff are experienced and personable! As someone who grew up in New England but has lived in GA for many years now; I am beyond excited that the Chef (Ken) is a veteran and comes from New England and brought all his authentic seafood and culinary expertise with him! His clam chowda recipe is delicious and truly hits home for me. The menu reflects his diverse travels and well-rounded culinary vision. He values bringing seasonal food to his dishes - keeping the menu fresh and creative. Supports the local PTC farmer’s market by getting his produce there weekly. This restaurant brings a breath of fresh air to the many chains across the city. Good place to both catch up with friends causally at the bar or go out on a classier, fun date night. It quickly became a frequent, favorite spot for me and my husband. I just wish they had a more extensive and nicer outdoor seating area. The location doesn’t quite support that. A must try nonetheless!

Make sure you have time when you come do not come in a hurry. The wait is definitely worth it its like they marinate every piece of food perfectly. Their bacon whisky is amazing and their food is out of this world 6 star if possible to rate that high. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is really nice.
